The first demo app is called Audit Report. Audit Report is used to generate listings of things that you should take a look at in your data. From serious problems, like wells with no locations or logs with no units, to less serious things like wells missing country. Given that you have the necessary reference standards in place, Audit Report can also list all 'illegal' logs or picks - including all necessary ancilliary data. Furthermore you get simple metrics on data quality and coverage and statistics on what sort of data is in the database.

In the demo version all links to our other applications are deactivated, otherwise it is fully functional.

It is difficult to produce meaningful Data Management demo tools for download. These are extremely powerful tools (as you can see from the videos) but without workflows or training they are potentially more dangerous than useful.

Consequently the demo app(s) that we make available for download are 'benign' ie they are apps that will not make any changes in your data. They should however give you some idea of the speed and power of the RoQC Tools.

For any of our data management tools to work you need to have a source of Reference Data or Standards. In case you do not have such a set of (corporate) standards in OpenWorks already we have provided an example set - RoQC_REF_2003.bak.tar or RoQC_REF_R5000.bak.tar. These are OpenWorks backups. Choose the one applicable to the version of OpenWorks you are running (from the links below)  and restore as 'ROQC_REF'.

Please remember that this is a minimal set provided for demonstration purposes only - so that you can run the demo apps.

Audit Report (version for RHEL 3 & 4) is no longer supported.

(Download, gunzip and execute. Make sure file is executable)

The installer will create a directory called RoQC_soft  and will and install everything in this drectory.
